Overview
Our client is looking for a New Business Advisor. The ideal individual will enjoy creating and selling personal lines insurance programs to prospective clients. This position involves gathering information, collaborating directly with a producer and/or prospective client, generating quotations, presenting insurance packages, closing and binding orders, preparing required documentation, and securing payment information.
Compensation Range: $60,000 to $110,000 annually Full time, new position.
Compensation is based on a full-time 35-hour work week and will be dependent upon the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. It includes variable commissions and potential performance-based bonus.
Knowledge, Skills and Requirements
Licensing & Education
3+ years of personal lines experience, with at least one year of proven insurance sales experience
Active RIBO License in good standing
Additional industry qualifications such as CAIB, CIP, etc., are considered assets
Technical & Interpersonal Skills
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
Proven sales ability
Results-oriented professional with a strong work ethic
Unwavering commitment to delivering professionalism and expertise to clients
Proficiency in MS Office products such as Word and Excel
Experience with TAM/EPIC is considered an asset
