As a Claims Adjuster, you need to be someone who wants to make an impact. You’ll love the feeling that no days are the same while you leverage your expertise in multiple lines to investigate, negotiate, and settle auto and property damage claims. You’ll inspect and examine claims documentation while maintaining regular contact and building rewarding relationships with our customers to provide a claims experience founded on integrity and urgency. You’ll also communicate with insureds, brokers, agents, and vendors to maintain Company’s reputation and service standards.

This role will also support PMI’s Claim Conversion Project. We have embarked on a transformation as we shift our policy administration to the Guidewire insurance platform. During this transition, we are converting Claims from our legacy system over to Guidewire. You’ll help our team transfer Claims files between systems, verifying the data by calling on your valuable experience while also managing a small pending of open claims during the Conversion secondment. Once the Conversion project is complete, the role will transition over to Claims Adjuster on a permanent basis.

What you’ll bring to the table:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Claims adjudication role with a focus on auto and property damage claims.
Applicants with experience in multiple lines of insurance business preferred
Post-secondary education.
CIP designation, or current progress, or interest in working towards one.
Excellent verbal and written communication, superior customer service skills, excellent time management skills.
Proficient with computer applications including MS Office, with experience in Guidewire an asset.

This position is FULLY REMOTE.
