Overview

Our client is a well stablished Brokerage Firm with multiple locations across Ontario.  Presently looking for a Manager, Commercial Lines for their Lindsay location.

Commercial Lines Manager – Lindsay

As part of the Management Team, you will be involved in creating plans and setting strategy for Commercial Lines.

Reports to Executive Vice President, Commercial Lines.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee a team of commercial risk placement specialists
Ensure Service standards are achieved (renewals, endorsements, certificates, etc.)
Ensure quality levels are achieved in renewal, endorsement and certificate process (example: Coverage gap analysis, options for clients)
Develop unique and effective relationships with key insurance companies to enable risk placement
Review insurance programs for commercial prospects
Ensure the highest quality of submissions to market using EPIC and PolicyWorks
Mentor and develop team members including annual performance appraisals and/or performance improvement plans
Effective team member providing an outstanding new customer experience
Work closely with Senior Account Managers and Producers
Key Skills and Experience:

Minimum 5 years of Commercial Lines Experience
Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
Exceptional relationship buildings skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft product suite (Excel, Outlook and Word)
Experience with EPIC and PolicyWorks is an asset
Post-secondary education is an asset
Insurance industry designation is an asset
Must be able to work in the office a minimum of 4 days per week  
Active RIBO license is preferred
