Founded in 2008 with a serious of acquisitions, our client has roots dating back to 1976.

Our client continues to grow serving Canadians from coast-to-coast for their domestic and international insurance needs.  Currently operating from 8 different offices and with over 185 employees and in excess of $130 million in volume.

They are currently looking to add a new broker to their team.

The successful candidate will:

Design, secure, and deliver the best insurance program and provide professional expertise to our clients;
Prepare Submissions, Proposals and Binders;
Prepare documentation such as letters, certificates of insurance as required for our clients, insurers and other parties;
Process endorsement changes and invoice transactions;
Handle routine inquiries and facilitate endorsement requests;
Ensure accurate processing of policy documentation such as renewals, new policies, endorsements, etc.;
Provide our internal and external clients with prompt, courteous and professional service;
Various other office duties including, but not limited to, assisting with telephones, mail, filing, etc., as may be required

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years Personal Lines marketing experience
RIBO Licence is required, and other industry qualifications such as CAIB, CIP, etc., would be considered an asset

Skills:

A team player with a strong work ethic
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to use creativity in structuring commercial product proposals
A strong attention to detail
Computer knowledge in MS Office products such as Word and Excel, and experience with The Agency Manager (TAM) and Policy Works an asset
