Key duties will include:

  • Reporting directly to, and assisting the Regional Vice President with branch matters
  • Managing all aspects of the personal insurance & administrative teams
  • Providing service excellence on an assigned book of VIP personal insurance clients
  • Leading and motivating the team in order to meet organizational goals and objectives
  • Scheduling and monitoring office attendance
  • Handling escalated calls from your team and team inquiries with the aim of a positive resolution
  • Training, mentoring and development of the team
  • Managing performance of individual team members and implementing corrective solutions as may be required
  • Participation in hiring new team members and related onboarding processes
  • Ensuring adherence to all processes, procedures and service guidelines at the direction of the Vice President of Personal Insurance
  • Collaborating with the Personal Lines management team across the organization

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Superior time management and organizational skills to manage competing priorities
  • Strong abilities with respect to Agency Manager (TAM) and MS Office products
  • A minimum of 10 years Personal Lines brokerage experience
  • A minimum of 5 years management within the insurance industry
  • Industry designation(s) preferred, such as CAIB & CIP
  • RIBO License
  • Driver’s license, with personal vehicle available for periodic business use
