Overview

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

MANAGEMENT:

·         Employee performance reviews

·         Deal with Problem Files that escalate

·         Manage a team of 10 personal lines CSR’s

·         Deal with problem clients that escalate

·         Manage staff conflicts

·         Lead monthly Account Manager staff meetings

·         Provide updates on markets, coverages, general industry to CSR’s

·         Oversee training of new employees

·         Improve workflow and procedures

·         Track new business, cancellations etc.

·         Participate is setting new business targets and retention goals

·         Create marketing initiatives

NEW BUSINESS:

·         Prospecting new personal insurance clients

·         Providing detailed quotes and summaries of coverage to new prospects

·         Obtain necessary documents when binding new accounts

·         Review quotes to ensure accuracy

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

·         Outgoing personality

·         Self-starter

·         Strong written and oral communication skills

·         Strong organizational and proven leadership skills

·         Proficiency in Outlook, Word and The Agency Manager (TAM)

·         Accuracy and attention to detail

·         Time Management

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·         R.I.B.O and A.I.I.C. or C.A.I.B.

·         Minimum 5 years insurance experience

·         Management Experience

·         Strong Organizational Skills

·         Strong Communication Skills
