Overview

Requirements:

 3-5 years of Personal Lines sales experience including VIP high net wealth account management experience.
 Comparable years of experience working with VIP insurers (i.e. Chubb, AIG, GCNA).
 Confident professional who is able to sell and develop new business based on internal cross-selling opportunities & inside sales referrals.
 Independent self-starter who is able to make effective prospect calls and develop new relationships based on leveraging existing networks, connections and centers of influence in the local community (i.e. outside sales).
 Good listening skills and able to determine VIP client’s needs and priorities.
 High performance team player, with a positive & outgoing attitude.
 Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
 Strong attention to detail & accuracy.
 Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, and follow-up on uncompleted tasks in a timely manner.
 Current RIBO license.
 Working knowledge of Applied Systems, The Agency Manager (TAM) system.
 Working knowledge of MS Office – Word and Outlook.

Key Responsibilities:

 Proactively strive to develop new VIP Private Client accounts with incoming & outgoing sales calls as well as client visits.
 Respond to any internal VIP cross-selling and sales referral opportunities promptly and efficiently.
 Conduct front line underwriting for any new client files, and all existing accounts.
 Super-qualify new prospective VIP clients. Provide premium estimates and best “solution” for all clients & prospects.
 Complete application process for new clients.
 Work effectively as a team with Account Managers in order to oversee the service of a book of business including guidance on client renewals.
 Uphold the VIP service standards to all Private Clients.
 Complete remarketing of existing accounts, where necessary.
 Document all account changes on client file in TAM.
 Complete renewal applications and order reports.
 Send all required documentation to clients.
 Promote account-rounding with all clients.
 Promote cross-selling & up-selling opportunities.
 Complete customer-satisfaction calls.
